  For this vacation in Hangzhou, I specifically chose Merchant Marco Hotel Hangzhou. Originally, I only came for its location near West Lake, but unexpectedly stayed for three days and was impressed by the meticulous and attentive service throughout. It has become the most comfortable city hotel I have stayed in in recent years.
  Just as I dragged my suitcase to the hotel entrance, the doorman quickly came up and took my luggage, greeted me with a smile, and led me all the way to the lobby to check in. Upon learning that this was my first time in Hangzhou, the receptionist quickly helped me with the necessary procedures and offered me a chilled Hangzhou style osmanthus sour plum soup. She also kindly reminded me that there have been many tourists in the West Lake scenic area recently, and helped me upgrade my originally arranged room from a lower area to a quiet higher area room for free, fearing that I would be disturbed by the noise of the commercial district downstairs. She also specially gave me a handwritten list of local restaurants and eateries that locals often visit, avoiding internet famous shops crowded with tourists, and even drew me a walking shortcut to West Lake.
  The service after check-in is full of surprises. When I was strolling around West Lake, I accidentally caught a light rain. When I returned to my room, I found that the room service had quietly taken away the wet umbrella I had left at the door and dried it. They also placed a bag of ginger tea and a dry towel for wiping my hands at the table. I casually mentioned to the waiter that I had to rush for a simple work document tonight. When I came back from a walk downstairs, I saw that there was already an eye protection lamp with just the right brightness at my desk, and there were free Hangzhou style osmanthus cakes and a cup of warm honey water next to it.

Come out from Exit D, Longxiangqiao Station, Metro Line 1, walk for 5 minutes to the door, drag your suitcase under the shade of wutong trees, and turn two corners to see the familiar European style door head. As a well-established Four Diamond Culture Hotel in Hangzhou, the entrance is immediately attracted by the Marco Polo travel themed decoration in the lobby. The warm yellow lights complement the exquisite European style decoration, and the fatigue of just getting off the high-speed train is instantly dissipated.
  When checking in, the front desk lady was very considerate. Upon learning that this was my first time visiting Hangzhou, she specially arranged a lake view room in the high district for me and even gave me a hand drawn map of the West Lake walking route. As soon as I pushed open the door, I was pleasantly surprised. The room was spacious and cozy, with smart toilet seats and disinfection cabinets that exceeded expectations. The bed was just right in softness and hardness, and leaning against the chair by the window, I could catch a glimpse of a corner of West Lake, and even the silhouette of Baochu Pagoda in the distance could be vaguely seen. After closing the door, the sound insulation effect is particularly good, and you can't hear the noise of the commercial district downstairs at all.
